The police in Brixen im Thale in the Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel are looking for a thieving drunk. The perpetrator stole money and a mobile phone from a car. A witness, who thought the crook was the owner, helped him push the car into a parking lot.
The incident took place between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. The unknown perpetrator found the unlocked car in Brixen im Thale.
“He stole a double-digit amount of cash and a mobile phone,” the director said. Shortly after six in the morning, a witness found the man, who was apparently heavily drunk, in the car on Dorfstrasse.
Looking for witnesses
Believing the vehicle belonged to the drunk, the witness helped him push the car into a parking lot and secure it. “The unknown man then fled.” He was probably between 1.80 and 1.85 meters tall, stocky and spoke German.
