As reported, an alleged adhesive attack on two girls aged 17 and 19 in Taiskirchen in Upper Austria was fictitious. The two had accused an alleged partygoer of the act – it was eventually revealed that an accident had happened during a TikTok challenge. The two girls now had to answer to court.

The incident happened on February 26. The 19-year-old promised herself temporarily fuller lips as part of a TikTok challenge by applying superglue to the area between her nose and upper lip. However, this went wrong, the young woman’s lips were glued together. She had to be hospitalized.

threatening letters forged
The two girls accused a partygoer of causing the glue incident. He glued the mouth of one to the arm of the other with super glue. When the police investigated the alleged crime, the girls allegedly forged threatening letters to substantiate their claims.
During the police investigation, the statements of the young women turned out to be fictitious. The two have confessed.

The girls appeared in court on Thursday. The 17-year-old first accused was charged with assault, defamation, false testimony and falsification of evidence and was sentenced to three months’ suspended prison terms under the juvenile justice system, a court spokeswoman confirmed.

The 19-year-old, whose lips were glued together, was sentenced to five months in prison for defamation, false testimony, falsification of evidence and theft. Both appeared in court. They are on probation for three years and the sentences are already final.
