VIENEN – Whit Monday, around 12.30 pm: On Landstraßer Hautenstraße there was a fire alarm in an attic apartment. Attente “Kroon” Readers recorded the big smokes with photos and videos.
The Viennese Professional Fire Brigade immediately moved with air ladders because the fire quickly spread to the roof. Despite the concentrated extinguishing speed, it took until the early afternoon until the flames were under control. The cause of the fire remains unclear – the investigation continues to run
Large scale barrier
Since the Landstraßer Hautenstraße had to be blocked for use, two bus lines in the area could not run, as the Wiener lines informed. The 4A to Karlplatz had a local distraction between Löwengasse and Hungargasse.
In the direction of Wittelsbachstrasse there was a detour between Wijkhrerplatz and Rasumofskygasse. Line 74a was prevented from continuing in both directions.
