Early in the morning, a man from Salzburg (22) threatened a man from Flachgau (24) with an empty pistol in an apartment in the city of Salzburg. He demanded cash from the victim. After hours of detention, the older man handed the 22-year-old a ten-euro note. He eventually managed to escape from the apartment.
The man called the police. They were able to arrest the perpetrator a short time later. He was taken to jail and is charged with dangerous threats and coercion. The investigation is ongoing.
