Dramatic scenes unfolded in Hinterstoder on Tuesday morning. A German man suffered a serious fall in the ski area on the Höss. The injured man had to be resuscitated by other skiers. An emergency helicopter crew then took him to Kepler University Hospital in Linz for further care.
The 37-year-old German skied down the Hösskogel piste in Hinterstoder on Tuesday around 9:50 am. The skier suffered a serious fall and had to be resuscitated on the spot.
After initial treatment, the 37-year-old was flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz with the emergency medical helicopter “Christophorus 99”.
