That was a shopping trip to the Seiersberg shopping center that a 13-year-old probably won’t forget for a long time. Three teenagers hit and threatened him and eventually stole his jacket.
Three young people between the ages of 13 and 16, from different backgrounds but all living in Graz, wanted to finance their purchases in a way that was not exactly legal. They aggressively demanded cash from several youths. A 13-year-old boy finally handed them five euros in the hope that they would be satisfied with it.
Beatings and threats
The three young perpetrators obviously did not do that. They targeted another boy from the group, also 13 years old, and demanded the jacket from him. One even became extremely aggressive and punched the victim in the face. He also made nasty threats. So the 13-year-old gave him the jacket and the three perpetrators fled.
Successful search
A civilian patrol was able to arrest the young perpetrators, not least thanks to the victims’ good identification of the perpetrators. The money and stolen jacket were recovered and returned to the victims.
The three youths partially confessed and were reported.
