Skier injured – After accident: Police are looking for snowboarder with red beard

A collision occurred between a skier and a previously unknown snowboarder in the Sonnenkopf ski area in Vorarlberg on Thursday. The man spoke briefly with the spouse of the other person at the crash, but then left without leaving his personal information. Now the police are investigating.

Around 2 p.m., a 28-year-old skier skied down the Sonnenkopf on blue slope number 8. According to her statements, an unknown snowboarder slid over her skis from behind, causing both people to fall.

Snowboarder left the scene of the accident without leaving any information
The snowboarder had a quick chat with the skier’s husband and then continued his journey without leaving any personal details behind. After the collision, the skier complained of pain in the hip area and was therefore taken by ambulance to the Bludenz State Hospital.

Information requested from police
Police are now looking for the snowboarder involved in the accident. The man is described as follows: approximately 20 to 30 years old, dressed in black, spoke standard German and had a reddish beard.
