The series never ends: within a few months, the clothing store “Amicis” was robbed three times. On New Year’s Day of all days, the battering ram gang struck again.
Once again there were three perpetrators, again a car was the key to the loot and again it was the Amicis store that was robbed. This time on New Year’s Day at 6:30 am.
Raids in April and October
The perpetrators’ tactics are inevitably reminiscent of the previous robberies in April and October 2023 at the same store: the three unknown men drove a previously stolen vehicle into the entrance area of the store so that it could be broken into.
Perpetrators fled
“They grabbed everything they could and drove away in the same vehicle,” police spokesman Mathias Schuster told the “Krone”.
The perpetrators fled before the police arrived. An immediate search turned up nothing. According to the police, an investigation is being carried out into “any links with previous incidents”.
