As heavy as a 10-year-old, 32-pound tumor removed from a German woman (24).

Date:

Doctors in Magdeburg cut out an incredibly large tumor from a young patient: the huge tumor had formed in the ovary – fearing the operation, the 24-year-old only came to the clinic when she had problems breathing and eating.

The tumor turned out to be a cystadenoma, a benign tumor. The University Hospital in Magdeburg reported that this had developed unnoticed over a long period of time.

Weight loss due to eating problems
In addition, the woman had a large fetus before the ovarian tumor was surgically removed. It was only when she developed health problems such as shortness of breath, heaviness and problems with eating that she came to the university clinic. Due to the limited food intake, she also suffered from weight loss.

Released from hospital after a week
According to the German newspaper Volksstimme, it was discovered during the operation that he already had adhesions to his intestines and abdominal mesh. Nevertheless, the doctors were able to remove the sample successfully and without complications. The 24-year-old was able to leave the clinic a week after the procedure.
