WEGA officers were stopped around 9:30 p.m. by an agitated passerby who said he witnessed a violent altercation between two men nearby. The police officers immediately went to the scene.
The victim suffered injuries to his upper body
When they arrived, officers noticed two men, one of whom – the 27-year-old – had an upper body injury. The 29-year-old allegedly attacked him with a knife during the argument. When the officers told the suspect he was under arrest, he suddenly ran away.
