A serious accident occurred in Vienna-Brigittenau on Monday evening. On Brigittenauer Lände, near a student dormitory, the driver of a gray Porsche collided head-on with another vehicle.
According to eyewitnesses, several people were injured to an unspecified degree in the nighttime horror crash; one person was said to have been seriously injured.
Road closed in both directions
In addition to the police and rescue teams, the fire brigade was also on site to save the vehicles. The gray Porsche was on the other side, the second vehicle was thrown over the dike. The Brigittenauer Lände had to be closed for the duration of the operation.
The course of the accident is currently still a subject of investigation. Basically the lanes at this point are separated by an elevation and a street lamp has also been damaged.
