An alcohol driver with 1.72 per mille in his blood caused an accident with consequences in Thalgau near Salzburg on Friday evening. He crashed into the car of a 35-year-old with his seven-year-old son on board.
Before the head-on collision in the center of Thalgau, the 26-year-old alcoholic drove into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason.
Injuries of undetermined degree
While the 26-year-old was unhurt, the two innocent people involved in the accident, a 35-year-old father and his seven-year-old son, suffered injuries of an unknown nature.
Significant material damage was caused to both vehicles. Because his blood alcohol level was 1.72 per mille, the person who caused the accident had his driver’s license confiscated and he was prohibited from driving any further.
