French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has announced the end of the gradual increase in taxes on non-road diesel, a simplification of regulations for agricultural hedges and a €50 million increase for organic farming.

“The CAP must be simplified, that is a fact,” Attal said on Friday from a farm in Montastruc de Salies, north of Toulouse, where he set out to outline an arsenal of aid in favor of the agricultural sector, which he spent eight days pressure on his government increased highway and road blocks throughout the state.
