In the indoor swimming pool of a hotel in Ladis in Tyrol, a three-year-old girl suddenly floated motionless in the water on Friday evening. The father immediately jumped into the pool and was able to save his daughter. The young Dutch woman was reachable again a short time later. She was taken to hospital in Zams.
Around 5:40 p.m., a couple from the Netherlands with their three- and five-year-old daughters were in an indoor hotel swimming pool in Ladis (Landeck district). “Over a period of time that is currently unknown, the three-year-old girl probably went to the swimming pool unnoticed,” police said.
Taken to hospital as a precaution
Some time later, hotel guests discovered the child floating motionless on his stomach in the water. The father immediately jumped into the pool and pulled his daughter out of the water. “The three-year-old child quickly regained consciousness and was already responding when emergency services arrived,” the director said. The girl received first aid from an emergency doctor and was taken by ambulance to the district hospital in Zams as a precaution.
