In Günselsdorf (Baden district), a five-year-old was seriously injured late Thursday afternoon when a car collided with a train carriage. An emergency helicopter flew the child to the Donaustadt clinic in Vienna.
The serious accident happened on a free level crossing. According to police, the car was hit on the right side and spun off.
The 5-year-old was injured so badly that an emergency helicopter rushed to help and the child flew to the clinic in Donaustadt, Vienna.
The boy’s 30-year-old father and the driver of the car escaped with minor injuries. The driver was taken to Baden State Hospital. The driver and six passengers were not injured.
