Israeli air and ground forces attack Hamas targets in southern Gaza

Date:

According to the Ministry of Health, Naser and Al Amal hospitals are “without food and security”, nor do they have anesthetics or painkillers.

The Israeli army continues to attack Gaza and increases civilian casualties among Palestinians following the latest operations in the south of the enclave.

This happens when starting 113 days of warand the death toll will rise in Gaza, where at least 26,083 Palestinians have lost their lives, most of them children and women, and another 64,487 have been injured at the hands of the Israeli army.

The Israeli army said yesterday it was carrying out “precise operations” in the main hospitals of Khan Yunissuch as Nasser and Al Amal, who claim that Hamas militants operate from within.

The Gaza Health Ministry has been denouncing for days that “the Israeli occupation is besieging the hospitals of Khan Younis, completely paralyzing them, committing genocide and preventing the movement of ambulances.”

According to the ministry, the Naser and Al Amal hospitals are located there “without food and without safety”, and also without anesthetics or painkillers.

The UN humanitarian agency OCHA said the Naser hospital, which currently houses some 18,000 displaced people, is operating “under minimal conditions because it is surrounded by the Israeli army and faces heavy fighting, so it cannot can receive patients or supplies for longer.” .”

The war has left 1.92 million displaced people in the Gaza Strip, 85% of the total population, living in a unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Under the rain and frost of winter, thousands of families with children and the elderly live in open-air plastic tents, amid the outbreak of epidemics and the collapse of hospitals, in addition to the persistent shortages of drinking water, food, medicine and electricity.

These conditions could worsen following the announcement by several countries to suspend funding for the United Nations Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA), which manages the distribution of humanitarian aid.

The UN International Court of Justice (ICJ) demanded on Friday that Israel “take all possible measures” to prevent this ‘prevent’ and ‘punish’ any incitement to genocide against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, although he has not called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. In addition, he urged Israel to take “immediate and effective” measures to allow humanitarian aid access to Gaza.
