They were probably on their way home from a night of partying: In Timelkam, a car carrying three young people (20, 23 years old) overturned and ended up on the roof. The 23-year-old driver was drunk and his driver’s license was temporarily revoked.
The motto ‘Don’t drive under the influence’ may have lost its validity in many places during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Another driver (23) was taken off the road around 4:20 am on Sunday morning.
Three injured
Unfortunately, this had previously led to an accident in which not only the 23-year-old driver from the Vöcklabruck district was injured, but also his two 20-year-old passengers.
When the “Schluckspecht” drove his car on the L1273 in the municipality of Timelkam, he left the road to the right, drove about 30 meters into a meadow, rolled over and landed on the roof.
Alcohol test positive
All three occupants were able to get out of the accident car independently and initiate the rescue chain. After initial care, everyone was taken to the Vöcklabruck hospital.
An alcohol test on the driver was positive and he has temporarily lost his driver’s license.
