An East Tyrolean man heard a loud bang on Tuesday morning while standing in front of a house in Schlaiten near Lienz. When the man checked, he made the terrible discovery: the seriously injured farmer was lying on a wooden floor. The 48-year-old fell five meters while working on the roof structure.
His relative provided first aid and alerted the emergency services. The injured person had to be flown to the clinic in Innsbruck by emergency helicopter. Further investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
