The Turkish president has reaffirmed that Sweden and Finland are refusing to join the Atlantic alliance because of their ties to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), a Kurdish organization considered terrorist by Ankara.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has said last week’s talks with the Finnish and Swedish delegations were not “at the level expected”, so Ankara can’t approve countries that “support terrorism” to join NATO The Turkish public channel TRT Haber announced this on Sunday.
