The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has been supplying mid-range smartphones with a good price-performance ratio for years with its Redmi Note series. In the latest thirteenth generation, the Redmi Note 13 Pro even has a 200 megapixel camera for around 350 euros. A welcome alternative to the expensive upper class of 1000 euros or more? We tested it.
As in previous years, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series consists of multiple models: with or without 5G mobile communication, with or without the Pro name suffix, and the Pro version also has a Pro Plus version with the bonus of an accelerated fast charging mode. The price range is between 200 and 500 euros. With the Note 13 Pro 5G we looked at the device that for many buyers is below the magical limit of 350 euros and promises a lot of hardware for the money. In the test it was not entirely convincing.
