Vienna police are currently investigating two suspects who allegedly brutally robbed a jewelry store in the city center at the end of January. There has been no trace of the two since.
The two masked suspects broke down the front door of the jewelry store around 10:35 a.m. At the same time, an employee was in the store and tried to stop the two strangers. Without success, because a wild argument broke out.

The woman was injured. After the two men stole some valuables from the display cases, they fled. According to current investigation, the two would have fled on foot along Plankengasse towards Seilergasse, over Kärntnerstrasse to Weihburggasse and finally to Ballgasse, where the two got on the bicycles parked there and rode towards the city park.
Threatening passersby
According to the police, the two also threatened passers-by with sharp objects. The investigation is progressing quickly.
