Urgent request rejected – Zehntmayr-Hof in Saalfelden is forcibly evacuated!

Date:

Excitement in Saalfelden im Pinzgau: The house and farm of the Zehntmayr family were forcibly evacuated on Wednesday morning. After a postponement in August, the bailiff engaged an eviction company to seize assets. An urgent request to stop the deportation was rejected on Tuesday.

Since the early morning hours, the farm of Friedrich Zehntmayr and his sister Regina at Lichtenberg Castle in Saalfelden has been a hive of activity: household items, equipment and animals are cleared away and loaded into white vans. The family unsuccessfully asked for a postponement of the eviction on Tuesday. Armchairs, cooking utensils and a compressor were removed from the home by a clearance company under police supervision. The Salzburg Regional Court decided on Tuesday to vacate the building in an emergency procedure.

The family itself was not at the farm at the time of the evacuation, because Friedrich Zehntmayr’s 40-year-old pregnant girlfriend had to give birth that morning. “The family is completely exhausted,” reports Karin Dolinger, SPÖ member of the state parliament. She stood up for the family and has no idea what is happening. She suspects that the court-ordered deportation was unlawful. “Several lawsuits are still ongoing in Germany and here,” she says.

Friedrich and his sister Regina Zehntmayr had a mountain of debts that they could not pay off. Half of Regina Zehntmayr’s farm has already been sold to a German investor with the help of a trustee (the “Krone” reported). According to Dollinger, he planned to build a chalet village there, but the authorities did not approve. Friedrich Zehntmayr doesn’t know what will happen next. Currently, he is focusing on his partner and the upcoming addition to his family.
