A serious accident took place between a truck and the Aspangbahn in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria) on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the collision happened around 3 p.m. The train derailed and the truck full of vehicle parts ended up in the ditch, the local fire brigade reports.
Railway closed
All occupants were able to get out independently. According to the information, six people were taken to the hospital for examination. There was a temporary closure on the railway line.

A rail replacement service has been set up between Felixdorf train station and Traiskirchen Aspangbahn train station, the ÖBB said. Passengers had to take into account a maximum of 30 minutes extra travel time.
