Today’s common office PC is considered a hard-working, but otherwise enjoyable helper. Tablets, on the other hand, act as entertainers, but you can’t interact with them. HP has therefore tried to combine the best of both worlds in one device with the Envy Move. Did that work? We tested the portable all-in-one PC.
In the beginning there was the desktop PC, then the notebook and finally the tablet. With each downsizing, devices became more mobile, enabling new use cases and increasing entertainment value, but at the same time also implying a loss of user comfort, often at the expense of productivity. As a rule, you cannot work as efficiently on a small notebook or tablet as on a ‘large’ PC with the same screen. HP must have thought so too and is introducing a new device category with the Envy Move, namely the portable all-in-one PC.
