The ship had a “large list to starboard and the machine was swamped,” Salvamento Marítimo said in a statement.

The Guardia Civil patrol boat ‘Río Sella’ has been working on site, “monitoring the situation” and the maritime rescue ship ‘María de Maeztu’ has been mobilized to try to tow the damaged vessel.
