Kelag has angered some customers with the new rates for its charging stations. That’s what the “Krone” asked the Carinthian energy company.
A few years ago it was still a curiosity, but now a familiar sight: electric cars on the roads of Carinthia. While many people charge their climate-friendly car at home with their own charging station, some depend on public facilities. Just like last year’s electricity rates, Kelag has now adjusted its rates and contracts. At Kelag’s own charging stations, a kilowatt hour now costs at least 55 cents. The change is causing anger and surprise among some customers. Therefore, the “Krone” succeeded Kelag.
