That’s probably house arrest! A 14-year-old from Linz destroyed Mum’s car. And of course she didn’t know that her son had regularly “borrowed” him for outings.
On Friday night, the 14-year-old grabbed the key to his mother’s Audi A1 and got behind the wheel. Also on board: a 15-year-old friend.
The teens were driving around South Park and heading out of town when the young driver made a mistake at a T-intersection, going straight and slamming into the front gate of a business lot.
The boy sheepishly called his mother and confessed to the crime. And also that it was not the first time that he traveled with his friend in a “borrowed” car, on the contrary. But nothing had happened until now, and Mom had never noticed the change in mileage or the empty tank. Fortunately, the boys escaped without serious scratches.
