The carnival parade in Griffen was in full swing on Tuesday afternoon when the woman from Villach, who was sitting on a swing on a parade float, discovered her partner on another carnival float. “The swing was hanging from a small bucket. The small excavator, in turn, was positioned on a platform mounted on the front of a tractor,” police said.
Fell off the swing
As the swing was swung towards her partner, the 44-year-old gave her friend a kiss. While swinging backwards, the woman from Villach fell from the swing and fell to the ground.
After initial medical treatment, the injured woman had to be taken by ambulance to the accident hospital in Klagenfurt.
