A 10-year-old child in the US now faces real consequences after a false threat. The little boy was handcuffed and taken away.
The 10-year-old was arrested by police in Cape Coral, Florida, after he texted him threatening to kill. Photos released by the authorities themselves show the 10-year-old being led away in handcuffs.
“This student’s behavior is despicable, especially after the recent tragedy in Uvalde,” Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in a statement. “The safety of our children is our top priority!”
‘Not the right time to act like a petty criminal’
Even if the child allows himself only a macabre joke, the consequences are serious. “Now is not the time to act like a petty criminal,” Marceno declared angrily. “That’s not funny. This kid made a false threat and now he’s facing real consequences.”
