Two tragic traffic accidents took place on the B50 in Burgenland on Thursday. First he hit a cyclist. Nearly an hour later, a little girl was injured in an accident.
Around 10 a.m., a 66-year-old driver was driving with her ten-year-old granddaughter on the B50 in the municipality of Marz towards Sieggraben. At the same time, a 75-year-old driver wanted to continue on the B50 towards Sportplatzgasse. For unknown reasons, the two vehicles collided.
Ten-year-old girl taken to hospital
The 10-year-old girl suffered unknown injuries. She was taken to Eisenstadt hospital by emergency services; the two drivers were unharmed. The vehicles were seriously damaged in the collision and had to be towed away by the Marz fire brigade.
Cyclist crashes into car
Almost an hour earlier, an accident occurred on the accompanying section of the B50 in Stankt Georgen am Leithagebirge. Due to unknown causes, a 47-year-old cyclist collided with the car of an 80-year-old driver on the side of the B50 in Stankt Georgen am Leithagebirge.
The 47-year-old was injured to an unknown extent and was taken by ambulance to Eisenstadt hospital after receiving first aid. The car driver was uninjured.
