An actor, presenter, musical performer and speaker, who worked as a freelancer at a well-known Viennese theater company, is said to have had sexual contacts with child actors and boys from a choir in Vienna. There was a raid on his apartment in Vienna – advertisement!
The local theater scene is not calming down. Following the conviction of ex-TV commissioner and ex-Citizen Florian Teichtmeister for child pornography, another alleged abuse scandal is being investigated.
This time the curtain fell for an actor, presenter, musical performer and speaker who also worked as a freelancer with a very well-known Viennese theater company.
The suspect is currently smiling broadly from a press photo across a stretch. In any case, the criminal offenses are serious: the man is said to have had sexual contacts with child actors and boys from a well-known children’s choir as part of his work.
Data carrier seized during raid
During a house search in the Viennese district of Ottakring in January, a smartphone, an iPhone, a laptop, several USB sticks and a tablet were seized.
Sexual acts demanded via cell phone video
Inside the room it is said that the artist asked the boys to perform sex acts through a cell phone camera. Reports say there are at least three minor victims, some of them immature. “So cowardly,” says one of the many chats seized when a 13-year-old victim denied masturbating on camera.
The suspect – who is subject to the presumption of innocence – repeatedly asks the boy to video chat, apparently trying to persuade him to perform sexual acts or elicit intimate details from him.
The victim confided in his parents
Fortunately, one of the children confided in his parents, who immediately called the police. The Viennese investigators are currently waiting for the evaluation of the seized data carriers. There are three possible criminal offences: engaging in sexual contact with minors, child pornography and attempted sexual abuse.
