The discounts will be maintained for a period of one year and will be applied to the temporary subscriptions Bidai 50, Bidai 70, Bidai Oro, Gazte 70 and Gazte Oro (regardless of the operator) and the barik titles (Gizatrans and Creditrans) of Lines Metro lines 1, 2 and 3.
The 50% bonuses on temporary passes and barik cards from the Bizkaia Transport Consortium will come into effect on Tuesday, February 20. The discounts remain valid for one year.
Through a statement, CTB reports that, once the public exhibition period has ended, the 50% discounts will be implemented from next Tuesday on all trips paid for with the consortium titles.
In concrete terms, the discounts return to the temporary passes Bidai 50, Bidai 70, Bidai Oro, Gazte 70 and Gazte Oro (regardless of the operator) and the barik titles (Gizatrans and Creditrans) of metro lines 1,2 and 3.
The measure is applied following its publication this Monday in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia (BOB) and pursuant to Royal Decree 8/2023, published on December 28 and which determines the extension of the price reduction for public transport users.
The 50% discounts were approved during an extraordinary Council on January 4 for all prices regulated by the Biscayan Transport Consortium.
