Around half past four in the morning a fatal traffic accident took place on the A9 Pyhrnautobahn towards Linz. According to the first information, a truck collided with a car in the Kienberg tunnel between Klaus and Inzersdorf.

The car was seriously damaged and the collision was fatal for one person involved. The Red Cross was on site with two rescue teams and an emergency doctor, and the police were also present. The road towards Linz is expected to be closed for another hour. Further information will follow.
