An e-biker suffered a serious head injury after a fall in Sarleinsbach in Upper Austria: she had braked incorrectly.
Two German citizens, a 53-year-old and her 57-year-old husband, went on an e-bike tour at 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday. Both drove one after the other into a slightly sloping forest in Sarleinsbach. The 53-year-old who was riding behind her husband lost control of her e-bike, apparently due to light and shadow changes and a bump in the road, when she suddenly applied both disc brakes.
Admitted to the Rohrbach Clinic
She turned and fell on the shoulder. She suffered serious head injuries. After first aid, the woman was admitted to the Rohrbach clinic.
