Search for clues – Graz gunman spotted in Germany

Date:

Dangerous shotgun man is still on the run: On Monday, the man from Graz was seen attacking an acquaintance with an ax and knife on Germany’s Baltic Sea coast. He has been classified as a “fire risk” – police are urgently appealing for information.

The 43-year-old from Graz attacked an acquaintance with an ax and knife last Friday and has been on the run ever since. After searching for him throughout Austria, he is now believed to be in the Kiel area on Germany’s Baltic Sea coast. The German police are also hot on his trail, but he has not yet been arrested.

Search for attempted murder
This is a problem because the suspect is considered “incendiary.” He inflicted several stab and laceration wounds on the head and neck of his 59-year-old victim. He also has a shotgun that he could possibly carry with him. His health condition is also difficult to assess.

All requested information
The police are therefore still asking for information. It is unclear whether the 43-year-old is already in a third country. The fugitive, Benjamin Gotthardt, is believed to be traveling in his registered Skoda Fabia Kombi car with a Graz license plate. He is about 6 feet tall, slim, with long gray hair in a bun and a large bump above his right eye. He was wearing a reflective jacket at the time of the crime.
