A 33-year-old local man was injured in a traffic accident in Kirchberg (Tyrolean district of Kitzbühel) on Thursday morning when his car left the road and fell into a ditch.
The Austrian was driving on Spertentalstrasse from the Aschau district towards Kirchberg around 6:15 am on Thursday when the accident occurred. For reasons that are still unclear, the car went over the left side of the road in a slight bend to the right.

It then rattled across a field for about 20 yards before the car finally crashed into a stream bed. The 33-year-old driver suffered unknown injuries in the accident. The rescue took him to the hospital in St. Johann in Tirol. There was serious damage to his vehicle.
