During maintenance work on his single-family home in Ostermiething, the 72-year-old fell into a four to five meter deep well shaft on Friday morning. His partner noticed his disappearance and asked the neighbor for help.
Injured to hospital
This not only started the rescue chain, but according to the police, the elderly person was pulled out of the well with a rope. When the four alerted fire brigades arrived at the scene of the accident, the rescue had already been successful. The 72-year-old was treated at the scene by an emergency doctor and then taken to hospital in Braunau with injuries of an unknown nature.
