After an unknown skier ran over the skis of a Dutchman (58) in Neustift in the Stubai Valley (Tyrol) on Tuesday, he ran away a short time later. The police are now looking for witnesses who saw the incident or the man.
The accident happened on Tuesday shortly after noon under the 6-person chairlift of the “Eisjochbahn” in Neustift in the Stubai Valley. A 58-year-old Dutchman got out when the previously unknown skier ran over his right ski.
The Dutchman fell and injured his right knee. The stranger brought the man his ski poles, but left the scene of the accident a short time later. The injured man was rescued by the slope rescue team with a skidoo and taken to a doctor.

However, there is no trace of who caused the accident. The man was between 50 and 60 years old, about 1.90 meters tall and spoke German. He had white skis, yellow ski pants and was wearing a black jacket and a dark ski helmet.
