The 42-year-old professional tearfully admits his guilt. “I’m so sorry about everything,” he says. Several crimes are alleged to have occurred between April and October 2023, but as both the victim and the suspect’s wife refused to testify, the prosecution is based solely on the perpetrator’s information.

During police interrogation, he admitted to only one sexual act with his stepdaughter. The consequence of this is still bitter for the man. “His marriage is over, he has lost his family and is also facing personal bankruptcy. He failed at everything, so to speak. Seen in this way, everything imposed on him today is a bonus,” says lawyer Martin Künz and asks for a lenient sentence.

Partial imprisonment
Although the defendant had previously agreed with his estranged wife to pay for his stepdaughter’s driver’s license as part of his financial means to make up for this, Judge Lisa Pfeifer found the man, who had been found guilty several times – although not relevant. in accordance with the indictment, he was given a partially suspended prison sentence of nine months, seven of which were conditional.

Mrs. Rat’s remorseful confession and the fact that the man helped find the truth are soothing. At the end, the judge gives the perpetrator, who is in tears, a small glimmer of hope: “I don’t want to promise you anything, but you can try to apply for an ankle bracelet.” The verdict is already legally binding.
