The Vienna police carried out a coordinated traffic plan square in Ottakring and surrounding neighborhoods on Thursday night. A total of 190 complaints and 120 organ mandates were submitted. One cyclist was particularly negative who made a phone call while driving without hands-free and showed aggressive behavior towards a cop. He was eventually even arrested.
The motorcyclist was a 25-year-old who was caught near the Lerchenfeld belt around 5 p.m. by a uniformed bicycle service (uFD) police officer while on the phone while on the bike. The man not only behaved aggressively, he also did not want to participate in the official act or hand over his ID, the management reports.
As the man had become increasingly aggressive, he was arrested – but with resistance, so other police officers were called in to help. The uFD officer suffered minor injuries during the official act.
