Around 8 p.m., a 24-year-old was driving his tractor and trailer on the B 74 towards Leibnitz when an accident suddenly occurred: a 31-year-old driver apparently drove into the trailer without braking, the Styrian police informed.
The car ended up in a ditch and the driver was seriously injured. The Red Cross took him to the LKH Graz. “An alcohol test conducted revealed moderate alcoholism,” police said.
The tractor driver was also slightly injured and was treated at the LKH Graz. The fire brigade was on site with 22 emergency services and the road remained closed for two hours.
