That could have been much worse: In Steinerkirchen an der Traun (Upper Austria), a mini excavator tipped over and fell on a 29-year-old who was trapped underneath it. The guardian angel was at the wheel of the excavator and came to the aid of his seriously injured colleague.
A 29-year-old from the Wels-Land district was working with an excavator on an agricultural plot in Steinerkirchen an der Traun on Friday afternoon.
Rescue alerted
He tried to maneuver it over an embankment, but fell over and fell on a 33-year-old from the Gmunden district. The 29-year-old managed to free the trapped man and called the emergency services.
The 33-year-old was taken to the Wels Clinic with serious injuries.
