Fire alarm in Dornbirn (Vorarlberg): Early on Sunday morning, dozens of Floriani youth responded to an apartment fire – one tenant suffered smoke poisoning.
At 6:30 am a fire broke out in an apartment in Dornbirn. The fire started in the kitchen due to an unknown cause. When the emergency services arrived, the tenant of the apartment and all other residents of the complex were already outside.
The affected tenant suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Dornbirn Hospital; the other residents were unharmed. The fire was quickly extinguished by the Dornbirn fire brigade. Fortunately, the disease was also prevented from spreading to other apartments. A total of 46 fire, rescue and federal police forces were present. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
