An old, deserted house, which partially collapsed and threatens to fall closer together, ensured that the fire brigade, police and co. Due to the expertise, the adjacent federal road and the sidewalk were closed until further notice.
The house, which borders directly on the B164 Hochkönig Straße, is old and uninhabited. Thursday evening, around 9 p.m., it suddenly broke with the demolition band building. A blanket on the northwest side of the house admitted – partially broke into. Just like a part of the wall!
Structural engineering situation on location
Fire Brigade – 30 members with five vehicles – police, salvation, road maintenance department and the mayor immediately moved. The good news was that there was no one in the house and that is why nobody was injured. In the end there was also a structural engineer who viewed the building closer and rated the situation.
Danger of traffic and pedestrians
In the end, the expertise showed that the house has a danger to adjacent traffic. “As a result, the road was closed in the direction of St. Johann in Tirol and the accompanying sidewalk until further notice,” the police reported. The traffic there is now regulated by a traffic light.
