A 37-year-old did not accept the end of his relationship and continued to harass his ex with his mobile phone. But that’s not all: first he attacked her in her residence in Feldkirchen in Carinthia, then he even followed her to her mother’s house with Maria Wörth.
The relationship with a 37-year-old woman from Feldkirch lasted only three months, but the man from the Villach-Land district apparently did not want to accept the divorce. The suspect has been bombarding her with voice, text and image messages since the beginning of June and does not stop.
The first escalation came on Friday: the man caught his ex-girlfriend in the parking lot near her apartment and tried to persuade her to try again with him. When the woman made it clear to him that there was no chance and she went to her apartment, the 37-year-old threatened her and stood in the parking lot for hours.
Followed to my mother
Then on Sunday evening the second shock: the man suddenly appeared at the mother of his ex in Maria Wörth, where she was at the time. Fortunately, he had announced his arrival via a voicemail message. This allowed the woman to flee to the house. She understandably felt threatened again and immediately called the police. When emergency services arrived, the stalker fled to his home. Since he legally possesses weapons, the case became a matter for Task Force Cobra. Fortunately, the 37-year-old was calm and cooperative when he was given access. Two long pistols and a handgun were seized and the man was reported publicly.
