Just stay for dinner – murders of Russian war returnees in restaurant

Date:

An ex-convict who fought his way out of Ukraine shot a man in the middle of a restaurant in the Russian metropolis of St. Petersburg. What was especially shocking was that he then simply sat back down at his table and happily continued eating…

40-year-old Alexei I. takes out his gun and shoots the man sitting opposite him. He jumps up and falls not far from the table. The 40-year-old approaches and fires a few shots. The man dies on the spot. A surveillance camera captured these terrible scenes and the portal “Bumaga” published them.

After that, Alexei I simply returned to his table and continued eating, reports “Fontanka”. Accordingly, he would not have even attempted to flee the crime scene. Police officers were therefore able to arrest him a short time later. ‘Fontanka’ assumes it was a planned murder – the murdered person would have owed the man a lot of money. Criminal proceedings have already been initiated.

Those returning from the war do not receive therapy
Alexei I only recently returned from the Ukrainian war and was recruited from the penal colony for deployment to the front. According to the information, he was sentenced to 3.5 years in camp for various thefts.

In Russia, ex-prisoners returning from war often commit crimes again. After their brutal efforts at the front, the authorities released them back into society without any treatment. Many Russians no longer feel safe.
