A man (39) fell from a window in Vienna’s 15th district on Wednesday and died. The alerted police found him lifeless on the sidewalk. At this point, negligence on the part of third parties cannot be ruled out.
The Vienna State Police announced this on Wednesday evening. The incident therefore took place at 11.40 am. Police in Vienna’s 15th district Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus were alerted due to a fall from a window. However, they discovered the man at the scene, lifeless, lying on the sidewalk. The Vienna Professional Rescue Service, which was also called, confirmed the 39-year-old’s death.
Autopsy ordered
The circumstances of the fall and some injury patterns were initially unclear on Wednesday evening. According to the police, foul play cannot therefore be ruled out. She has ordered an autopsy and is currently investigating the area.
