A 31-year-old paragliding student crashed from a height of about five meters on a meadow in Andelsbuch (Bregenzerwald) on Friday during the take-off phase. The woman, who took the plane to complete her training, was flown to hospital with serious leg injuries, police said.
The 31-year-old exploded around 11:30 am. But during the starting phase she had problems with the paraglider that she could no longer solve. She crashed and was taken to Bregenz by emergency helicopter after first aid.
