Anniversary woman in charge of local reviews after her birthday party

Date:

An amount of 3,000 euros was agreed with the landlord of the Viennese city center, while the account amounted to 5,763 euros. The Viennese woman was furious and suspected fraud. However, the Viennese public prosecutor accused her of trying to coerce the bar owner with bad reviews.

A lively 1940s party with 54 friends in central Vienna now brought the hostess to justice. The partygoer agreed with the bar owner that he could not collect anything from the guests up to a total amount of 3,000 euros. “That was my budget,” the woman said during the negotiation. The atmosphere was great until she finally got a bill for 5,763 euros.

The woman faced a prison sentence of five years
“That evening my client said that this was too much and that it could not be right,” says lawyer Philipp Winkler. This would also have been confirmed by a subsequent survey among all guests about their consumption. “I told him it was a hoax. If he doesn’t pay back 1,500 euros, I’ll write bad Google reviews,” explains the woman who then did so. Before she was charged with attempted aggravated coercion – a punishment that can reach up to five years in prison.

Acquittal. But now it’s against restaurateurs certain
“The 3,000 euros was gone around 10 p.m. I told her, but she said, ‘Go on, go on. Nema Problema,” says the restaurant owner, talking himself into a maelstrom as a witness. In the end he even says that his cash register crashed. Acquittal. But that should not be the last word in this matter. The file goes back to the StA, which must now investigate the fraud committed by the innkeeper.
