By an angry tenant – flood of hospital advertisements: ‘Now it’s really escalating’

Date:

A tenant from Burgenland sees vehicles stopping in front of the Jennersdorf health center in an area that is not designated as a parking lot as an eyesore. For the city manager, this is now an unbearable situation because the tenant, who is known as a rioter, is now not afraid of direct confrontation with doctors, health workers and patients.

The situation for doctors, healthcare workers, suppliers and patients at the Jennersdorf health center is becoming increasingly stressful: For months, a tenant has been filing notices and infringement proceedings because he feels disturbed by cars stopping at the entrance. This area is very popular as a parking or stopping place, especially among suppliers and people with mobility problems.

No one is safe from ads anymore
No one is safe from notifications anymore, whether they are blood transporters, meal-on-wheels providers, rescue services or, most recently, psychosocial service workers punished for ‘illegal detention’. There is also a trial – which was recently postponed – because other witnesses, including a doctor, Mayor Deutsch and OSG boss Kollar, will be questioned. City boss Deutsch even says: ‘Now it’s really escalating.’ ‘It has now reached the point where he (note from the tenant in question) enters the ordinations and seeks direct confrontation with the patients by insulting them wildly. But it is also about behavior that damages our reputation.”

Anyone who does not comply with the law will be reported
To take civil action against the tenant accused of causing a riot, the mayor has also obtained the approval of the city council. The tenant, on the other hand, accuses the local boss of misleading the city council with a false report just to gain legitimacy to take legal action against him.

“It’s complete nonsense. All correspondence between the municipality, OSG and the tenant is open to the municipality,” Deutsch counters. Officially, the annoying guy doesn’t want to take a stand at the moment, which motivates him to keep filing complaints. Exactly this: the law must remain the law. Only when the legal procedure has been completed and the mayor apologizes can we continue talking. He wants to continue with the advertisements until no one stops at the entrance anymore.

Marking is intended to achieve de-escalation
To prevent the situation from escalating further, the city and OSG agreed to observe the area in front of the health center. In the future, loading and unloading should be legally possible here for a period of 20 minutes.
